Senator Tom Carper says Gary Cohn faked a bad connection to get Donald Trump off the phone

Hahaha, Senator Tom Carper (D-WV) told CNN’s John Berman and Poppy Harlow that White House staffer Gary Cohn played like he had a bad connection in order to get President Donald Trump off the phone!!!

Carper describe the conversation like this, “Gary, why don’t you do this? Why don’t you just take the phone, the cell phone back and just say, ‘Mr. President, you’re brilliant and were losing contact and I think we’re going to lose you now so good bye.’ And that’s what he did and he hung up.”

Recognizing that Carper just told on Cohn, Berman just came out and asked if Carper was really saying that Cohn played like he had a bad connection in order to get Trump off the phone.

And being the honest fellow he is, Senator Carper simply responded, “I don’t want to throw him up under the bus, but yes.”

Now, anybody who knows anything about Donald Trump knows he knows about as much about the “Art of the Deal” as he knows about the number of branches of government we have.

During that failed healthcare repeal vote, Republicans voiced concern about Trump not knowing anything about healthcare.

Y’all remember Trump calling the Republican healthcare bill “mean” and then he said the Republicans “cover pre-existing conditions-beautifully.” And now, the same is going on with taxes.

Trump is running around telling folks the middle class will get the biggest tax cut ever when in reality the only thing the middle class will be getting is cut down to a smaller size.

But that’s Trump for you, shuckin’ ‘n’ jivin’ to get what he wants at the expense of you.
